Description
The County of San Diego is seeking aviation flight helmets, flight suits, flight jackets, pants, shirts, flying gloves, custom apparel, and related fitting, tailoring, alterations, repairs, and warranty-support coordination for the Sheriff's Aerial Support to Regional Enforcement Agencies Division. Products must be new and suitable for rotary-wing pilots, with specified fire-resistant materials, protective features, customization options, sizing, and manufacturer or authorized-dealer support. The solicitation permits brand-name-or-equal products and requires supporting product documentation and images where specified. Fitting and tailoring must be performed in person at a location within 100 miles of San Diego County. The contract includes delivery to the ASTREA Division, secure individual fitting records, approval of fit before final acceptance, correction of measurement or workmanship errors at no additional charge, and standard alteration lead times. Quotes must include the required forms, technical responses, product documentation, payment schedule, acceptance of terms, and any applicable confidential/proprietary exhibit.
