Description
Atlantic County is soliciting preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for its food service equipment at the Central Kitchen and Meadowview Nursing Home Service Kitchen in Northfield, New Jersey. The contractor must provide three scheduled service calls per month at both facilities, using factory-trained technicians qualified to service refrigerated, freezer, and hot equipment. Work includes inspections, calibration, cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs, OEM or manufacturer-specified parts, maintenance documentation, and monthly itemized invoices. Emergency and callback service must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The contractor must respond by telephone within one hour of notification and have a service person at the job site within one hour thereafter. The contract is for 12 months from notice of award, with an option for one additional year at the same rates, terms, and conditions. Atlantic County has authorized up to $30,000 per year for parts, separate from the requested lump-sum maintenance pricing and emergency-service hourly rates. The bid requires online submission of the proposal form and specified certifications, bid security, consent of surety, and subcontractor and plumbing affidavits; the original bid security must follow within five business days after bid closing.
