Description

The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center's Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory is procuring 157 line items for fabrication of a scaled physical model of the new outlet works at Arkabutla Dam. The requirement includes EPS foam blocks and bonding adhesive; acrylic tubing and sheet; plywood, aluminum, PVC, PEX, fasteners, anchors, and T-slotted framing; polyurethane coatings, primers, sealants, and repair materials; fans, pumps, saws, drills, hand tools, shop equipment, safety supplies, tables, cords, and measurement equipment. Numerous items are identified by brand name or equal, including products from Drew Foam, Curbell, Weld-On, Creative Polymers, Sika, Makita, Milwaukee, Mitutoyo, and others. This is a firm-fixed-price commercial-products procurement for a single purchase order. Offers must include a technical description sufficient to evaluate compliance, including descriptive literature or other documentation when necessary. Delivery is required within 30 calendar days after award to the Engineer Research and Development Center's Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory. A standard commercial warranty is required, and offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management before submitting a response. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside, and award is expected to go to the lowest-priced technically acceptable responsible offeror. Amendment 2 updates several line items, including the acrylic tube's required 8-inch inside diameter and optical clarity, adhesive colors, the JetAire fan specification, and the omission of line 8 with its quantity moved to line 7.
