The U.S. Navy is seeking information from potential sources capable of performing depot-level inspections, modifications, structural repairs, and remanufacturing for F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft, including Inner Wing Panel modifications and repairs intended to restore aircraft and panel service-life projections to new-design specifications. The anticipated requirement covers the 2029–2034 period, but this notice is for market research only and is not a solicitation or request for proposal. Required capabilities include complex structural repairs and service-life extension work on F/A-18E/F, EA-18G, or similar tactical aircraft; on-site or reach-back liaison engineering; interpretation and execution of Boeing technical data packages; structural deviation and corrosion repair design; advanced nondestructive inspection; adequate hangar space and specialized tooling; facility and personnel security clearances, including Secret-level access; AS9100/AS9110 or DCMA-approved equivalent quality certification; compliance with naval aviation safety requirements; and sourcing of military-grade aviation materials while managing diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages. A site visit is required to determine a suitable source.
