Description
This solicitation is for the rental and maintenance of a dehumidification system with inline heaters and supporting services. The system is required for use at New London Subbase in Groton, CT. The period of performance includes a base period of 6 weeks from January 5, 2026, to February 15, 2026, with an option for an additional 2 weeks. The system must include a 5,000 CFM Desiccant Climate Control Unit (DCCU) with electric reactivation, two 60kW electric inline heating coils, 200 feet of 20-inch diameter flexible duct work, and associated power cables. The DCCU must be weatherproof, capable of operating in temperatures from -10°F to 110°F, and UL listed. The inline heaters must also be UL listed and capable of operating in passive mode. The contractor is responsible for providing start-up, commissioning, and training services, as well as all preventative maintenance and repairs during the rental period. Deliverables include technical instructions, points of contact for emergency repairs, preventative maintenance schedules, and equipment data sheets.
