Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs requires third-party cleaning validation of dental devices made from Formlabs Surgical Guide Resin. The contractor must review and approve the test plan, perform the validation using ENZOL cleaning procedures, and conduct testing in accordance with ANSI/AAMI ST98, ASTM F3293, ASTM F3208, AAMI TIR12, AAMI TIR30, and FDA reprocessing guidance. The contractor must hold ISO 17025 accreditation for cleaning validation testing and perform the work at its own facility using dental drill guides provided by the VA. The scope includes testing cleaning-agent recovery and cleaning efficacy, including hemoglobin and protein endpoint markers, followed by a detailed written report. The report must include the test facility name and address, study dates and summary, objective, experimental design and methods, results, deviations from the approved test plan, and a signed analyst compliance statement. The service is a one-time, non-severable requirement with performance due within 120 days after award; the solicitation identifies a base period from September 25, 2026, through January 25, 2027. Quotes must include pricing, a technical capability narrative and approach, and proof of ISO 17025 accreditation.
