Description
The City of Spring Hill is soliciting sealed bids for construction of approximately 0.936 miles of roadway improvements at the intersection of Port Royal Road and Buckner Lane. The scope includes clearing and grubbing, pavement removal and construction, excavation, drainage structures and culverts, retaining-wall and bridge-related work, sidewalks, curb and gutter, pavement markings, traffic control, erosion and sediment control, signs, and landscaping restoration. The project also includes installation and integration of traffic signal equipment, including a signal cabinet and controller, battery backup, radar vehicle detection, emergency vehicle preemption, spread-spectrum radio and antenna, communications equipment, conduit, cabling, and related electrical work. Water main relocation includes new water lines, fire hydrant assemblies, connections to existing lines, fittings, valves, and retirement of existing water lines. The project length is stated as 0.936 miles, with completion required within 12 months after the City's notice to proceed. Bidders must be prequalified and in good standing with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, hold the applicable Tennessee contractor license, submit a five-percent proposal bond or proposal guarantee, and provide required insurance documentation with the bid.
