Description
Canyons School District, through Hughes General Contractors as construction manager/general contractor, is soliciting a complete broadcast systems work scope for the Canyons Innovation Center Broadcasting Studio. The selected contractor must develop the design, furnish and install all broadcast equipment, provide audio/video signal and control wiring, complete programming and integration, coordinate with electrical, data, audiovisual, mechanical, and other trades, and deliver a fully operational system. The scope includes SMPTE ST 2110-based video and network audio systems; broadcast network infrastructure; audio mixing, DSP, microphones, intercom, and monitoring; video routing, switching, cameras, PTZ cameras, LED video wall, graphics, replay, recording, streaming, media storage, edit-bay systems, podcast and studio equipment, control-room systems, technical furniture, remote-broadcast connections, and a field production kit. The contractor must provide design-build documentation, shop drawings, testing and commissioning, training, operation and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and closeout materials. Bidders must use the CM/GC Bid Form, submit a PDF bid by email, and satisfy stated licensing, insurance, bonding, qualification, past-performance, safety, and scheduling requirements. The public posting is informational only; documents and questions must be handled according to Hughes General Contractors' requirements.
