Description
The City of Yellowknife is seeking a contractor to install and maintain a media logger system at its Public Safety Communication Centre to replace an existing end-of-life system. The centre supports 24/7/365 emergency and non-emergency dispatch for fire, rescue, EMS, municipal enforcement, and public works, with approximately 6,400 or more inbound and outbound phone calls and 8,100 or more radio transmissions each month. The replacement system must provide secure, reliable, continuous recording and data storage across multiple telephone and radio channels at separate primary and backup dispatch locations. The scope must also address integration with existing systems and transition of services, because the current system will remain operational until the replacement has been tested and approved.
