Opportunity Home San Antonio seeks a contractor to provide tree trimming, pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, debris loading and hauling, and emergency arborist services across its properties. Work includes routine maintenance and 24/7 emergency response, with arrival within two hours of notice. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, vehicles, transportation, and disposal services needed, and comply with specified arboricultural, safety, and Texas oak wilt requirements, including tool sanitization and debris disposal standards. Proposals are evaluated on experience and qualifications, capacity and emergency response, safety and oak wilt compliance, and price. Respondents must demonstrate at least three consecutive years of relevant experience; the assigned certified arborist must have at least five years of full-time supervisory experience. The contract is for one year, with up to four additional one-year extensions at the buyer’s discretion. Required proposal materials include experience and qualifications information, capacity and safety information, pricing, firm and subcontractor profiles, applicable licenses and certifications, HUD and conflict-of-interest forms, Section 3 and small/local vendor materials, and the proposal checklist and certification.
