Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research for a planned single-award project to replace an institutional dish machine. The anticipated work includes supplying and installing one brand-name-or-equal flight-type electric commercial dishwasher, removing and disposing of the existing machine, and providing a turnkey installation with required mechanical, plumbing, steam-line isolation, and electrical modifications. The replacement must fit the existing room and utility layout and meet the stated sanitation, safety, and code requirements. The attached draft scope also describes testing and startup, a minimum one-year manufacturer’s warranty and a five-year extended warranty on major components, and secure-facility work requirements.
