The University of Southern Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of ten new, unused 10,000-gallon single-wall, non-insulated vertical storage tanks and associated accessories for an aquaculture facility and recirculating aquaculture system. Tanks must be one-piece, seamless, rotationally molded, FDA-compliant virgin HDPE polyethylene units with UV stabilization, a minimum specific gravity rating of 1.2, a 26-inch threaded vented lid, three 2-inch polypropylene bulkhead fittings per tank, a reinforced dome, and one to five additional 2-inch dome fittings per tank. Products must meet NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and FDA requirements and be suitable for continuous use in wet, high-humidity aquatic environments. The preferred product is Snyder Industries Model 32036, or an approved equal. Equivalent products must be clearly identified and supported by detailed technical documentation demonstrating equivalency. The vendor must provide delivery, advance delivery coordination, unloading and handling information, packing lists, and applicable installation, handling, and maintenance documentation. Delivery is FOB destination to the University of Southern Mississippi.
