Description
The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship is seeking a qualified firm with acoustic telemetry expertise to conduct a comprehensive analysis of a 10-year dataset from 2013 through 2023. The dataset contains detections from 177 acoustically tagged white sturgeon across more than 40 fixed and mobile receiver stations. The analysis must evaluate sturgeon movement patterns and habitat utilization across spawning areas, overwintering locations, lakes, and the Fraser River estuary, including spatial and temporal habitat-use patterns, site fidelity, and periodicity. The estimated contract period is four months. The solicitation identifies an attached proposal response form and requires electronic submission through the BC Bid system by the stated closing deadline.
