Description
The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is seeking submissions for annual safety inspections of indoor and outdoor lifting (folding upward) basketball backstops, and to prequalify multiple vendors for repairs of physical education equipment. This contract will be for a one-year period beginning November 1, 2023, and ending October 31, 2024, with consideration for four (4) additional one-year renewal periods, ending October 31, 2028. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for inspections and repairs. The DSBN serves over 40,000 students across nearly 100 elementary and secondary schools in the Niagara region. The board complies with the Broader Public Sector Directives and applicable trade agreements. The DSBN reserves the right to incorporate additional inspection and repair requirements for physical education equipment into this contract and may assign projects based on a "best fit" determination at their sole discretion.
