Parks Canada Agency requires a contractor to plan, coordinate, and execute the relocation of historical and archaeological collections, archival documentation, specialized equipment, and office contents from the Beauport and Newton facilities in Quebec City to the Collections and Curatorial Centre in Gatineau. The work includes project planning, packing, crating, wrapping, palletizing, loading, secure transportation, unloading, acclimatization, unpacking, placement, inventory support, incident reporting, and project close-out. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, supervision, vehicles, material-handling equipment, packing and protective materials, and secure, climate-controlled transportation with GPS tracking, air-ride suspension, lift gates, locking systems, and numbered security seals. The work involves fragile, oversized, hazardous, culturally sensitive, and environmentally sensitive objects, including archaeological and historical artifacts, archival materials, books, photographs, furniture, industrial equipment, and objects weighing more than 1,000 pounds. The contractor must submit a technical offer, financial offer, offer submission and declaration forms, an Indigenous Participation Plan, relevant project experience, a project-manager résumé, and completed preliminary resource and activity schedules. A mandatory site visit is required, and the contract period is December 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
