Bids for the electrical construction of the Project will be received at the City of Newburgh Comptroller's Office located at City Hall, C it y of Newburgh, 83 Broadway, 4th Floor, Newburgh, New York, 12550 until Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The Project includes the following Work: Provision of all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental items to construct replacement filter underdrains at the City of Newburgh Water Filtration Plant, construct a SCA DA system with components at the Water Filtration Plant and remote tank and pump station sites, and related site and electrical modifications. Bids will be received for the following Contract: Contract No. 7.26 1E Description of Contract Electrical Construction The Project has an expected duration of 730 days. Description

The City of Newburgh is soliciting bids for the electrical construction portion of its Filter and SCADA Upgrade Project. This is a rebid of Project 7.26 and covers Electrical Construction only, including electrical installation associated with replacement filter underdrains and multimedia, new filter control panels, SCADA and PLC-based control systems, fiber-optic communications, instrumentation, control panels, network cabinets, power distribution, conduit, wiring, demolition, temporary power, and related site modifications at the water filtration plant and remote tank and pump station sites. The contract documents require a 5 percent bid bond, a qualifications statement, certifications, and other bid attachments. The project includes Drinking Water State Revolving Fund requirements, American Iron and Steel and Buy America requirements, Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, New York MWBE participation, and other applicable statutory requirements. Performance and payment bonds and insurance are required after award.
