Description
The State of Rhode Island, Division of Purchases is seeking to establish a qualified list of licensed constables for the provision of constable services, including the service of process and execution of writs, for statewide use through a Master Price Agreement. This Master Price Agreement will be active from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2026, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. Constables must hold a current Certified Constable License issued by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation, possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license, and provide proof of a bond with sufficient sureties in the sum of $10,000. Constables must also comply with all agency instructions regarding the performance of duties and associated paperwork requirements.
