Description
The Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, is seeking qualified caterers to prepare and provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and one 16.9-ounce bottle of water per meal for designated police stations. The contractor must provide the food, ingredients, biodegradable or composite food containers and utensils where required, and labor necessary for preparation and service. Meals must be wholesome, properly portioned, fresh, safely handled, and compliant with applicable Bahamian public-health and food-service requirements. Service is required daily, including weekends and public holidays, with baseline readiness times of 7:00 a.m. for breakfast, 12:00 p.m. for lunch, and 7:00 p.m. for dinner. Bidders must submit priced menus inclusive of VAT, a valid business license, a current Tax Compliance Certificate, valid health certificates for food-preparation and handling personnel, completed tender forms and schedules, and evidence of liability insurance when requested or before contract execution. The procurement is structured as a maximum price contract, with quantities authorized through the Government/RBPF process and no guaranteed minimum purchase quantity stated.
