Description
Fox Valley Technical College is seeking a single general contractor to renovate approximately 2,624 square feet of existing instructional space into a nursing assistant skills lab and an adjacent classroom. The work includes demolition and construction, general trades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and low-voltage work, flooring, acoustical ceilings, casework, and painting. The project manual and drawings provide detailed requirements for the alterations and associated systems; the bid form requests a lump-sum base bid and a separate alternate for electrical and low-voltage infrastructure for a non-interactive projector system. Bidders must provide bid security equal to 5% of the total bid, including alternates. The selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, each at 100% of the total base bid amount, with the contract. The anticipated construction start is May 25, 2027, and the work must be substantially complete by August 6, 2027.
