Description
Fox Valley Technical College seeks one general contractor for an approximately 5,000-square-foot renovation of its existing veterinary technician clinic. The work includes reconfigured instructional and support spaces, a new treatment area, two classroom/lab spaces, new partitions and casework, replacement lighting and finishes, and associated plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire-alarm, and sprinkler-system modifications. The project also includes demolition, construction protection and cleanup, permits and inspections, and coordination of the work in an occupied facility. Bidders must submit a lump-sum base bid and prices for three casework alternates. A bid security equal to 5% of the total bid including alternates is required. The selected contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds after award. The anticipated construction start is May 25, 2027, and the work must be substantially complete by August 6, 2027.
