Description
Westchester Community College seeks a contractor to rehabilitate seven existing exterior flagpoles at its Valhalla campus. The work includes inspection, cleaning and surface preparation, localized coating repairs, replacement of worn or damaged halyards, clips, cleats, pulleys, truck assemblies, finials, fasteners, and related operating hardware, along with minor nonstructural repairs. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, safety controls, and incidental work; test each flagpole for safe operation; and restore the work areas. The quote must include a lump-sum price for all seven flagpoles and separate unit prices for potential additional work. Required closeout deliverables include product data, completed-work and replacement-component lists, before-and-after photographs, operational confirmation, and warranty documentation. A minimum one-year warranty is required. Prevailing wage and insurance requirements apply; major structural, electrical, complete replacement, and concealed-condition work are excluded unless separately authorized.
