Description
Condon School District 25J is seeking a qualified service provider to replace an expiring contract for fully managed Dedicated Internet Access supporting educational, administrative, and operational needs. Quotes are requested for 1 Gbps, 2 Gbps, and 10 Gbps service, with installation and initial configuration included. The requested solution must provide fiber network availability of 99.99%, no more than 0.5% frame or packet loss, latency of no more than 25 milliseconds, and jitter of no more than 10 milliseconds. The provider must not throttle circuit capacity, monitor service availability, proactively respond to disruptions, respond to outages within one hour, and restore service within four hours. The proposal must include a service-level agreement, 24/7/365 network operations and customer support, trouble-reporting and escalation procedures, historical uptime statistics, outage-credit terms, and a detailed trouble-resolution plan. Providers must maintain a valid Service Provider Identification Number, comply with applicable Schools and Libraries Division and Universal Service Administrative Company requirements, display the SPIN on the quote, support either BEAR or SPI reimbursement, and certify that activation equipment is not from an FCC-designated national security threat company. The preferred contract terms are three or five years, with five optional one-year voluntary extensions.
