Description
The County of San Diego is seeking one new, unused 2026-or-newer Kenworth T380 five-yard dump truck, Freightliner, Peterbilt, International, or County-approved equivalent. The vehicle must meet specified emissions, weight, engine, transmission, axle, braking, tire, frame, cab, electrical, air-equipment, safety, and warranty requirements, and must be white with three programmed keys. The scope includes complete outfitting, including a five- to seven-yard dump body, hydraulic telescopic hoist and pump, hot-shift PTO, steel floor, cab guard, spreader apron, ditch gate, air-latching tailgate, tarp systems, warning and directional lighting, pintle hitch, toolboxes, and related controls and equipment. The contractor must coordinate build meetings, provide status and delivery updates, register the vehicle in California, deliver the fully outfitted vehicle within the required lead time, and provide all applicable delivery and title documentation.
