Description
Marshall County Schools is soliciting sealed bids from general contractors for improvements to Marshall Technical School. Bidders must visit the site, submit proposals on the Architect's forms or copies, exclude taxes from their bids, and provide general liability and workers' compensation insurance. A certified check or bid bond payable to Marshall County Schools, equal to at least 5% of the bid amount and capped at $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at contract signing. Contractors exceeding the applicable Alabama licensing threshold must provide evidence of current licensure and display the license number on the sealed envelope. The project completion time is specified in the project manual.
