Description
Correctional Service Canada (CORCAN) seeks providers to deliver Traffic Control Person courses leading to third-party certification for groups of federally sentenced offenders. The contractor must provide qualified instructors, training materials and equipment, classroom instruction, written exercises, and testing. Courses must cover applicable safety and traffic-control topics and meet relevant provincial and federal standards. The contractor must provide a list of successful participants and deliver their certificates within 21 days after each course. Training is delivered in English in Nova Scotia and in English and French in New Brunswick, as requested. Bidders may submit for either or both regions: New Brunswick or Nova Scotia. The solicitation anticipates up to two contracts, one per region, and selects the lowest-priced compliant bid for each region. The contract runs from award through November 30, 2027, with options for two additional one-year periods. The solicitation includes security requirements, including an organizational security screening and reliability status for personnel requiring access to sensitive sites.
