Description
Fulton School District 58 is soliciting proposals from qualified E-Rate vendors with valid Service Provider Identification Numbers to upgrade and operate a 10 Gbps fiber Wide Area Network connecting district school sites. The scope includes IP connectivity, fiber or equivalent connections to the district network, Ethernet drops in each head-end room, installation and initial configuration, proposed fiber routes and entry points, network-lighting equipment, protocols and topology, and a project timeline. The service must be Category 1 E-Rate eligible, fully operational by July 1, 2027, and interruptions must be addressed within one hour. Proposals must provide annual pricing, identify eligible and ineligible costs separately, describe the proposed network design, and include current-customer references with contact information, preferably from school districts. The district is seeking a four-year term and requires new equipment with full warranty and support where equipment is installed. The award is contingent on E-Rate funding, and the district may reject any or all proposals.
