Description
The Government of Alberta and its ministries and agencies are seeking one or more commercial satellite imagery vendors and/or forestry or remote sensing consultants to provide satellite imagery, derivative products, processing infrastructure, and related services. Potential applications include PlanetScope imagery and machine-learning-derived wetland inventories, very-high-resolution ortho and stereo imagery, forestry operations, forest health, natural-resource management, and wildfire preparedness and response. The resulting price-list contracts will be used on an as-needed and as-funded basis for pilot projects and to augment operational capabilities, with no minimum work guarantee. The Province will determine the number of contracts awarded. The estimated contract period is 15 months, with a proposed start date of December 11, 2026.
