Description
Hydro-Québec is conducting a qualification process for the reconstruction of the Mitis and Mistigouèche dams using a design-build delivery model. This is the first stage in selecting a design-builder; suppliers whose qualification submissions are compliant and who pass the commercial and technical evaluations may be invited to a subsequent request for proposals. Hydro-Québec may qualify up to three suppliers. The indicative project value, including options, is between CAD 80,000,000 and CAD 100,000,000. The estimated contract period is 12 months. The qualification is subject to Canadian Free Trade Agreement and Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement requirements. Performance and payment guarantees are to be provided at award, but their amounts are not stated.
