Description
The National Institutes of Health, Office of Research Services, requires turnkey replacement of three commercial kitchen units: one double-stack natural-gas convection oven, one natural-gas convection steamer with at least 10-pan capacity, and one approximately 40-gallon natural-gas tilting skillet. Brand-name-or-equal products are acceptable if they meet all stated salient characteristics; equal-product quotations must include manufacturer specifications or cut sheets demonstrating compliance. The contractor must furnish and install the equipment, remove and lawfully dispose of the existing units, perform applicable gas, electrical, water, plumbing, and steam connections and minor utility modifications, and provide startup, testing, commissioning, operator familiarization, warranties, manuals, and related documentation. Work must be completed within 90 calendar days after award and coordinated to minimize disruption to cafeteria operations. Quotations must include pricing for all CLINs, compliance literature, proposed delivery and installation lead time, evidence of current SAM registration, and the applicable representations and certifications unless current in SAM. Award will be made using a lowest-priced technically acceptable evaluation.
