Description
The New York State Thruway Authority is soliciting bids to replace the MGE inverter in the ground-floor electrical room of the P1203 State Police Building. The required system is a Dual-Lite Hubbell Trident three-phase UL 924 and UL 1778 inverter system rated at 27 kW/30 kVA, with a 90-minute battery system, 208Y/120V input and output, emergency power-off controls, internal bypass, monitoring and alarms, and a distribution sidecar with three 40A output circuit breakers. The contractor must supply and install the system at the designated facility and provide product data, system documentation, wiring diagrams, installation instructions, inspection and test procedures, and an affidavit certifying proper installation and operation after testing. Bidders must be the manufacturer or an authorized representative of a factory adequate for the specified work; an authorization certificate from the manufacturer may be required. The bid must include four completed certifications concerning prior non-responsibility determinations, permissible procurement contacts, business operations in Russia, and gender-based violence and workplace policies. Electronic submission through Bid Express is preferred, with hard-copy submission accepted as an alternative. Required insurance includes workers’ compensation and disability benefits coverage and commercial general liability coverage with $2,000,000 each-occurrence, $2,000,000 general aggregate, $2,000,000 products/completed-operations aggregate, $100,000 fire-damage legal liability, and $5,000 medical-expense limits.
