Description
The Greater Miramichi Service Commission is soliciting a contractor for residential and non-commercial garbage collection, transfer, and disposal within the Municipality of Alnwick. Service includes biweekly curbside collection, alternating with recyclables collection, for approximately 1,941 residential stops across Alnwick, Tabusintac, FairIsle, and Oak Point-Bartibog Bridge. Collected waste must be delivered to the Red Pine Solid Waste Disposal Site in Allardville. The scope also includes two bulky-item and white-goods cleanups per year at no additional cost. The contract term is 24 months, from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with an option to extend for up to two additional 12-month periods by mutual agreement. Bidders must submit the provided Form of Tender, confirmation of WorkSafeNB registration and coverage, and a signed tender package.
