Description
The University of Manitoba is purchasing one high-temperature size exclusion chromatography (HT-SEC/GPC) system for analyzing polymers, including polyolefins and related materials. The required turnkey system must include high-temperature solvent delivery, automated sample dissolution and transfer, autosampling, a heated column oven, a high-temperature differential refractive index detector, data acquisition and analysis software, a computer workstation, and the ability to determine molecular-weight distributions and related polymer characteristics. The system must support operation with 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene and accommodate unattended batch analysis. The scope includes delivery, on-site installation and commissioning, acceptance testing, user training, at least a one-year warranty, technical support, remote diagnostics, and service support. The solicitation also requests detailed technical responses, pricing, warranty information, insurance documentation, manufacturer specifications, delivery and support documentation, and additional information for the proposed equipment. The stated project budget is CAD $460,000 plus applicable taxes, and the target delivery date is February 1, 2027.
