Description
Huntington School District 16J is soliciting proposals for fully managed, leased lit fiber transport between designated district endpoints, together with unbundled internet access for wide area network services. The required service must provide dedicated symmetrical 1 Gbps transport, be scalable from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, and include service-level commitments for availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, outage response, and restoration. Pricing is requested for three-year and five-year service terms, with optional one-year voluntary extensions. The service must begin July 1, 2027. The proposal must describe the service and network design, provide a logical network diagram and electronic fiber pathway map, identify routing diversity, ownership and subcontracted fiber segments, and address demarcation, installation, permitting, restoration, documentation, and special construction requirements. Respondents must submit a proposed SLA, implementation timeline, sample contract, three recent customer references, and the required cost, special-construction, proposer-certification, and responsibility materials. Special construction pricing must be separately identified when applicable, and the selected provider must maintain USAC registration and a valid SPIN.
