Description
Pine Eagle School District 61 is soliciting proposals for two services: dedicated internet access and fully managed leased lit-fiber WAN transport. The requested services include scalable bandwidth, dedicated and symmetrical point-to-point connectivity, installation and initial configuration, service monitoring and maintenance, and service-level commitments including 99.99% network availability, packet-loss and latency targets, outage response within one hour, and restoration within four hours. Proposers may bid on one or both services. The proposal must describe the solution, service-level agreement, implementation timeline, demarcation, logical network diagram, geographic fiber pathway map, sample contract, and three similar-project references from the past five years. Pricing is requested for 36-month and 60-month service terms, with five optional one-year voluntary extensions. If special construction is required, the proposer must separately price construction, design and engineering, project management, and other non-recurring costs using the required worksheet. The selected provider must be registered with USAC, maintain a valid SPIN, comply with E-Rate requirements, and provide all necessary fiber electronics and equipment for leased lit-fiber service.
