Description
The Town seeks on-call snow-hauling equipment and operators for use by its Department of Public Works through June 30, 2027. Requested equipment categories include loaders, skid steers with snow blowers, and six-wheel, ten-wheel, and tri-axle dump trucks. Equipment must be available within one hour when ordered, including nights, weekends, and holidays; operators must meet applicable licensing requirements and carry a cell phone while working. Work is intermittent and paid at the submitted hourly rates for actual working time, with no guarantee of work. Bidders must provide equipment and vehicle details and submit supporting registrations, operator driver's licenses, insurance documentation, references, and the specified certifications and forms. Equipment must meet the stated registration, condition, lighting, and insurance requirements. Subcontracting or transferring an interest in the contract requires the Town's prior written consent.
