Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting construction services for an integrated floodwater-harvesting and groundwater-recharge system in Guzar 3, PD 6, Farah Centre, Farah Province. The scope includes site preparation, surveying, pond excavation and formation, gabion protection, stone pitching and masonry, PCC/RCC structures, seven 60-centimeter RCC pipes, two metal control gates, compacted backfilling, pond safety fencing, permanent and safety signage, material testing, occupational health and safety measures, environmental and social safeguards, and final restoration and demobilization. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, plant, equipment, supervision, quality control, testing, temporary floodwater-management measures, community-safety controls, and documentation needed to complete the works in accordance with the drawings, BoQ, technical specifications, and UNDP instructions. The contract duration is seven months after contract signature, with monthly progress payments and a required performance security equal to 10% of the total contract value, valid through the 12-month defect-liability period plus one additional month.
