Description
The County of Modoc is documenting a fiber broadband infrastructure project involving approximately 3,900 feet of two 1.5-inch HDPE conduits installed by directional boring at depths between 36 and 60 inches. A 5-inch HDPE encasement conduit will be used where the route crosses a Caltrans roadway, with a minimum depth of 48 inches. The project also includes installation of four new 3-by-5-foot vaults within existing public road rights-of-way. The work is identified as a California Environmental Quality Act Notice of Exemption for minor alterations to land and is expected to be carried out by CVIN, LLC.
