Description
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is gathering vendor input to plan a future competitive procurement of additional survey equipment and associated software. Responses must address software within the Carlson ecosystem; alternative platforms will not be considered. Required software includes Carlson SurvPC modules for conventional total stations, robotic total stations, and GNSS, as well as Carlson Office Survey and Survey GNSS. Other modules described as useful but not mandatory include Advanced Roading, Hybrid+, Civil, GIS, Point Cloud Advanced, PhotoCapture, and P3D Topo. The RFI requests information about respondents’ relevant experience and authorized-reseller status, software bundles and module dependencies, pricing units and typical price ranges, bundle-pricing approaches, and alternative considerations for a future procurement. Respondents are asked to complete the Technical Informational Form and Cost Informational Form and provide input on additional considerations. This RFI is for market research only and does not create contract rights or guarantee a future solicitation.
