Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a Sources Sought/Request for Information for asbestos abatement services in the Building 3PT sleep study space at the Montrose VA Medical Center. The work includes removal and proper disposal of friable and non-friable asbestos-containing materials within an approximately 2,300-square-foot abatement area, including approximately 100 square feet of radiator heat shielding. The contractor would be responsible for all personnel, materials, equipment, services, supervision, and facilities required to complete the work. Performance must comply with applicable infection-control requirements, New York asbestos-abatement regulations, OSHA requirements, EPA requirements, and other applicable laws and standards. The notice requests written capability statements only and is not a formal solicitation or request for proposals or quotes. The stated project magnitude is $100,000 to $250,000.
