Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking a Central African or international NGO/civil society organization to implement one or both lots of a Peacebuilding Fund project in the Triangle region of the Central African Republic. Lot I covers flood-mitigation and mobility infrastructure in Sam-Ouandja, including approximately 10 kilometers of drainage and road-improvement work, a reinforced-concrete bridge over the Ouandja River, and a pedestrian, motorcycle, and tricycle bridge over Yangou Jardin. Lot II covers community-security perception surveys, agricultural-group and value-chain support, entrepreneurship training, income-generating activities, and construction of a hangar in Sam-Ouandja for machinery used in youth vocational training. Lot I has a maximum budget of $340,000 and a 12-month period; Lot II has a maximum budget of $400,000 and a 30-month period. Applicants may bid on one or both lots, but one NGO may not be awarded more than one lot. Proposals must include technical and financial submissions within the applicable fixed budget, with detailed methodology, implementation schedule, organizational capacity, key personnel, risk and conflict analysis, gender and inclusion measures, monitoring and evaluation, and supporting legal, financial, experience, and organizational documentation. Subcontracting is prohibited, and the selected organization must pass a HACT assessment before contract signature.
