Description
Northern Alberta Institute of Technology is requesting quotations from geotechnical engineering consultants for work supporting the South Lobby redevelopment project. The investigation addresses slab settlement and related subsurface conditions, including survey control and GPR scanning as clarified by Addendum #1. The consultant must perform the required field investigation, coordinate and pay for private utility locating, conduct applicable laboratory testing, and provide preliminary and final signed and sealed reports. Working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; existing space may be used for laydown, and existing flooring may be removed without reinstatement. The preliminary report may rely on available field observations and laboratory results, with the final signed and sealed reports anticipated within four weeks of the initial report. Groundwater observations during drilling are sufficient unless additional scope is authorized by change order.
