Description
Dent County is soliciting sealed paper bids for construction of new ADA-compliant concrete sidewalk adjacent to the Dent County Courthouse in Salem, Missouri. The work also includes short retaining walls along North Iron Street and East Fifth Street, light poles and associated infrastructure, curb ramps and S-curb, and stairs. Bidders must purchase the plans and specifications through Great River Engineering and be listed as planholders. Bidders must also be on the Missouri Department of Transportation Qualified Contractor List, with the contractor questionnaire on file seven days before bid opening. The project requires prevailing-wage compliance, a certified cashier’s check or 5% bid bond, and completion of a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program by on-site employees within 60 days of beginning work. No second-tier subcontracting is allowed, and the stated DBE goal is 0%.
