Description
The NATO Communications and Information Agency intends to procure a global seamless vector basemap data package compliant with STANAG 2592 and the NATO Geospatial Information Framework data schema. The package will support web mapping, rapid mapping, geospatial analysis, routing, and geolocation services for NATO operations, missions, and other approved activities. It will include vector data based on Overture Maps, purchaser-furnished sources, and vendor-furnished data; relevant geospatial layers and attributes; professional symbolization compatible with NATO's CoreGIS enterprise GIS solution; derived raster and vector caches; routable networks; geolocator files; and metadata covering sources, processing, quality assurance, and translation to NGIF. The data license must cover NATO and Non-NATO Entities for North Atlantic Council-approved activities, with national-use licensing available as options. The procurement method has been updated to Best Value. Potential U.S. prime contractors must maintain a professionally active facility within the United States and register with NCIA's Neo eProcurement tool. Participation is restricted to vendors from participating NATO nations, and the opportunity is classified as NATO UNCLASSIFIED. The proposed contract may include updates during the project and options for updates and adaptations in subsequent years.
