CBRNE Defense Capabilities
Description
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC) is seeking proposals from educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and private industry for innovative chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) defense capabilities. The mission is to enable the Joint Warfighters' dominance on the battlefield and interagency defense of the homeland. Proposals should align with the mission areas detailed in Section VII of the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), including sensor technologies, aerosol technology, biological and chemical point detection, early warning systems, smoke and obscurants, collective protection, and decontamination methods. The BAA is continuously open for preliminary proposals, which may be submitted for potential funding consideration for up to five years. DEVCOM CBC is interested in proposals for basic and applied research and development efforts not related to specific systems or hardware development. The announcement is posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) website and the DEVCOM CBC website.
