Description
Madison-Oneida BOCES, through its Mohawk Regional Information Center, is soliciting bids for regional wired telecommunications services supporting a wide-area network for participating school districts and BOCES entities. The required service is dedicated Wired Ethernet Private Line connectivity, including point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connections, with scalable bandwidth from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps. The network must support secure data transmission, VLAN tagging, Layer 2 and Layer 3 traffic, quality-of-service capabilities for voice and video, native and shaped throughput, and specified availability and response-time standards. The successful bidder will be responsible for service provisioning, site evaluation and preparation, installation, testing, configuration management, maintenance, and coordination with participating entities. Bidders must submit pricing through the required connectivity matrix, a service description of no more than five pages, network diagrams, references and experience documentation, E-Rate SPIN and eligibility verification, a representative service-level agreement, and a proposed multi-year service agreement. The solicitation states a three-year or five-year contract option and requires two hard copies of the bid plus one electronic copy of the pricing matrix on CD-ROM or USB drive.
