Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price service contract for comprehensive support of Karl Storz endoscopy scope, camera, and related medical equipment. The scope includes manufacturer-recommended preventive maintenance; unlimited on-site corrective maintenance, repairs, exchanges, recalls, and alerts; OEM-certified parts and service; labor, travel, tools, materials, and waste removal; software updates and patching; and applicable loaner equipment, shipping, and technology updates. Contractor personnel must be OEM-trained and experienced with the covered equipment, respond to trouble calls within 30 minutes, and dispatch no later than the following workday. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 telephone technical support, coordinate any remote VPN support with the facility, safeguard patient health information, provide service reports within five business days after service, and support equipment verification and quality assurance. Quotes will be comparatively evaluated on technical approach, capability, experience, past performance, and price. Offerors must demonstrate three to five years of primary experience maintaining or repairing Karl Storz endoscopy equipment and provide relevant references or evidence of prior projects. The contract includes one base year and four one-year option periods.
