Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking quotations for four units of storage battery NSN 6140-01-715-8923: two units under purchase request 7018054818, one unit under purchase request 7018016097, and one unit under purchase request 7018016096. The item is identified as a critical application item manufactured by Aeroflex Wichita, Inc., part number 47604. The batteries must be delivered FOB destination within five days after delivery order, with destination inspection and acceptance. Requirements include DLA packaging, marking, and shipping provisions; MIL-STD-2073-1E packaging; MIL-STD-129 marking; hazardous-material packaging and communication requirements; and a 24-month, non-extendable Type I shelf-life requirement.
