Description
The Borough of Pompton Lakes is soliciting sealed bids for rehabilitation and replacement of 12 ADA curb ramps at four specified intersections, with an additive alternate for five additional ramps. The work includes reconstructing four Type B catch basins; removing and replacing concrete curbs, sidewalks, driveway aprons, ADA landings, and detectable warning surfaces; placing topsoil, seed, and salt hay; and replacing signs and traffic striping and markings. The project is expected to commence in spring 2027 and is partially funded by a Federal Community Development Block Grant. Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, labor standards, nondiscrimination and affirmative-action requirements, and minority- and women-owned business participation requirements apply. Bids must use the provided proposal forms and include the required bid guarantee, surety consent, Corporate Ownership Disclosure Statement, and Non-Collusion Affidavit. A 100% performance bond and 100% labor and material payment bond will be required upon award.
