Description
NASA's Space Communications and Navigation program is conducting market research for Unified Network and Navigation Operations (UNNO), an emerging effort to integrate operations and management of the Near Space Network, Deep Space Network, and cross-cutting network management functions. The anticipated scope includes 24x7 network operations, maintenance, sustaining engineering, facilities and logistics support, cybersecurity, mission assurance, systems engineering, integration and testing, mission integration, special studies, and development and modernization. The networks support NASA, other government, commercial, and international missions across Earth, lunar, Mars, and deep-space domains. NASA is requesting capability statements and industry feedback to inform the acquisition strategy, contract structure, performance metrics, transition planning, and suitability of firm-fixed-price work. No solicitation or contract award will result from this RFI. Responses must be unclassified and submitted electronically by email; the notice also announces voluntary industry days and one-on-one market-research meetings. A draft statement of work and separate capability-statement and industry-feedback instructions are included in the solicitation package.
