Description
Philadelphia Gas Works is seeking a one-time purchase of 6,006 feet of 20-inch domestic double-random-length bare black steel pipe without lacquer coating. Pipe must be stamped X42 or A53B, with no alternatives accepted beyond API-5L A53 Grade B made in the United States. Plasma-cut ends are not acceptable, and the pipe must comply with the attached black steel pipe specification for gas distribution use. The supplier must provide pricing, lead time, net-30 payment terms, prepaid freight, and FOB destination delivery. Actual material test reports, a certificate of compliance, mill certifications, and tally sheets showing footage per piece are required. Material test reports and tally sheets must be emailed for approval before shipment, and required pipe markings include manufacturer/API information, manufacturing details, dimensions, grade, specification level, manufacturing process, heat number, and test pressure. Award may result in one or more purchase orders to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with delivery date considered if the required date cannot be met.
